Whats Allowed?

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

Whats Allowed?

Post by dazkaz15 »

I'm not sure what is allowed in regard to insignia, specifically swastikas, and SS insignia. I know that in some countries its banned but is it allowed on these forums?
This is an image of one of the slides I will be using in my AAR. Its edited for now with pink blotches.
If what's under them is allowed Ill remove them if not, Ill think of something better than pink splotches to hide them [:'(]

Don't know about the swaztikas and SS stuff, Daz (someone in authority can answer that, no doubt), but the exreme 'Gothic' script is a bit hard for me to read in places. Otherwise, I really look forward to an AAR by you!

If you market your product into Germany and Matrix/Slitherine do then you cannot use swastikas and SS symbols.

IIRC for the version of RDOA published in Germany we were not allowed to use "SS" either. The code to change all references to SS is still in there, albeit disabled.

Yea those silly krauts, but what can you expect of a country that has a female bandit chief from the "Ostzone" as leader.
Makes you wonder what the cold war was won for...

To be honest best would be to rearrange all items so that the swastika and SS symbol is simply covered by something, other games did that before like "Gary Grigsby's Eagle Day to Bombing the Reich" for example.
