+1, I had just come back after a break, but this really freshens up the experience, it's excellent work.

Your work is amazing! I really like how you have the towns coded so you can see the size in an instant (in case you didn't notice, count the number of blue roofs you see in a town). I still prefer the original unit counters to yours, but only slightly! Your units are a wonderful alternative, but I choose the larger numbers on the originals.

Just outstanding..

I could be changing my mind about your counters. Having the 1-4 marker indicator on the left side of units is becoming rather indispensable to me. Oh, and the move marker on the right side is a nice touch.

The impact of the GUI even if almost only the aesthetics once again show its value.

I do have the 'Rail Status' finished, but that alone would make a ridiculously small batch to release - so I wait until I have a bit more meat to put on the plate. [:)]

Hi!
Here is the turn 5 (17/7) attack on Smolensk on Jison's great map.
Its both very artistic and with great playing clarity.
I hope he will be approached about future maps.
Couldnt resist some Germanized name modding like I did to the original WitE map.

SICH (Sicherung) obviously mens Security, and its ok with german units. But I guess that the Soviets had another name for these Sec-units (NKVD?)

Hi Jison,

Like your map. Looks great.
I've always liked the WITE original map. Lately have been using the mod map by DMP. But now I'm using yours. Really brings a fresh new look to this already great game.
