Command Radius and button.

The command radius is really tiny, shouldn't be bigger since the scale has changed? keeping units inside command radius of command units seems suicide now because of more powerful mortars and artillery. Would be nice for future versions to incorporate the communication aspect on the battlefield, which other well known games already have done in various ways.

When pressing the "opponent" button to see the enemy's forces, the caption stays the same, when you're looking at the enemy it still says "opponent" on the button, shouldn't the caption change to say something like "player"?

I totally agree Kanov. The command radius should be more like 100 meters to cover the whole platoon.

As a mod-maker I have a question to Slitherine and Matrix Games production team:
Is there a way to expand the command radius of HQ teams or is it hard coded?

The command radius size cannot be modified in the data files, sorry.

I believe it is understood that the command radius can not be edited but the question is did the size of the command circle get adjusted with the new map scale so that the meters covered by the command circle/radius is same meters as in previous CC games?

You're right -- the visual circle for the command radius was still based on 5 pixels per meter. This will be corrected in a future update. The range check vs. command radius is not affected by the visual scale at all, so the actual influence of commanders in the game is working fine. It's just a problem with drawing the circle too small.
