Target ambiguity

Post by George Patton »

What does it meaning?

"The Target's downrange ambiguity (0.3nm) is larger than 1x the weapon's acceptable limit (0nm)"

I'd think that your Sea Darts need a non-ambiguous fix to fire on the target.

See page 53 of the manual under downrange ambiguity.
Also checkout ambiguity on page 33.

Something else to keep in mind is that as you modify the default ambiguity, you may increase or decrease the difficulty or the
game's adherence to real life as it were. I think the devs probably shipped the game this way as a compromise for the different levels of skill.
I am not a noob but compared to many here I am definately not hard core YET, so this option is helpful, but I have not used it.
