Disembarking infantry.

Post by stormbringer3 »

When do you want to disembark before the final waypoint? When I first started playing I did that quite often, now I rarely do. I'd love to have some ideas on when to use this and the number of hexes to consider. Also, will being disembarked limlt losses applied the vehicles of the unit?
Thanks for any opinions.

If you are moving into know enemy territory it is a good idea to dismount and move up. This get the troops out and in the fight before it happens and both transport and troops can fight at full effect. If you get caught in the carriers and take losses you can lose both the transport and the troops on board to the one shot.
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!
