Is it possible to use mailed hotseat savegames?

I have been trying to play netgames but experienced frequent error messages and game crashes.

I was wondering if it was possible for to mail hotseat save games to each other and thus enabling a pvp game?

I tried mailing a savegame but the person i mailed it to was unable to load it. Is it something thats feasible at all?

I think that could work. Pretty awkward as any actions he has to take during your move would need you to describe what you are doing and then (while he's looking at a static picture of where you were in the game) he'd have to tell you if he wants to CAP, intercept, search, ground support, etc.

But within those bounds, I can't see why not. I have been able to open the "problem" game files that posters have uploaded to the forums.

Did you zip the game file? They are very large and one of your mail servers could have truncated it.
