Xmas , or not? (the patch)

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

Xmas , or not? (the patch)

Any news, Dave? Will Erik get this up before close of play tomorrow (assuming they're all on holiday next week)?

Well the Battle of the Bulge didn't stop for Christmas so why should Matrix? Slackers.

Better to try to encourage them, Alti. [:)]I'm sure they're exceptionally busy this time of year. Anyway, I'm not sure Dave has finished the build in time. That's why I asked, really.

And again like last year I must wonder why we have to get thru the trouble of letting Matrix do an installer.
Looking at WiTP Patches there is an installer for each patch but I doubt that this is the official Matrix Installer as that one usually asks for a serial.
Can't Panther simply load that in to the member club? The downloads there work only if you have registered the game so much less trouble for anyone.

I pulled the installer I sent to Matrix. We have a showstopper at the moment I'm afraid. So no patch before XMas. Sorry guys. It's not the Xmas present I wanted for you all.[:(]

I think everyone here would be happy if it came "good" rather than "fast" anyway, especially as you said that it would be the last patch before the next step.
Have a great holiday Dave (and everyone else at Panther Games)!!

Just a though:

"Perfect" sometimes stands in the way of getting "good enough."

"Fast" stands in the way of getting either ;-).

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
Take care,

Lol, Jim, that is why I said we preferred good (not perfect) ahead of fast.
Merry Christmas Jim!
