Do they damage your own ships?

there was an patch a while ago to stop them from firing when friendly ships were in the blast radius, they work best as a single ship going in to weaken the enemy ships. use 4-6 individual ships to go into a unfriendly system and attract the enemy fleets when its shields are low retreat and send in next one rinse and repeat this is very cost effective way of dealing with lots of weaker ships or for softening up opposing fleets before the initial invasion force warps in.

If only there was a ctrl-click select all of type in system, so that I didn't have to use more hot keys for that.

make each ships a fleet; name the fleets area 1,2,3 ect. so you can use the quick bar on the left to select the desired fleet. with out having to scroll though it.

they are good mainly for lone bases and ships with fighters. put some tractors on the base too to pull them in.
