As for the overlays, I found the FLOT one quite useful, and the ones over the targets are good as well. The Las Vegas and Nellis ones I don't use.

The Overlay attachement is no longer available? Wanna try scenario with all the bells & whistles [:D] If it's bigger and harder than Frisian Flag then is going to be really challenging.

Finally completed the new version, I think it plays well. There are some rather annoying "gamey" aspects of the scenario, however:
1) That F*$%ing Roland. It doesn't move, but when it's not on I can't put weapons on it. It evaded something like 3 HARMS/AARGMs on it's own. Didn't manage to kill it the entire game.
2) The second wave CAP/Scrambles felt really spammy. When they first took off, they caught me completely by surprise and nailed several of my SEAD/CAP aircraft. (Up until that point, I'd lost a single F-22) However, as the wave went on, it just became, well, a line of aircraft into AMRAAMS. Not sure if you can increase the numbers so that they're at least flying in pairs or find a way to make it so the air force doesn't take off to certain destruction.
Full AAR:
Heavy fighter sweep at start. Used 8xF-22, 4xF/A-18Fs, 4x Typhoons. Supported by a pair of Global Hawks on ELINT, an EC-130H and a pair of EA-18Gs. Managed to wipe out the entire starting CAP with a loss of only 1 Raptor. At this point, I got caught with my pants down since I didn't have any of my follow on SEAD/Strike Aircraft staged. After what felt like an eternity waiting for everything to get staged, I ended up pushing the SEAD aircraft in behind a wall of MALDs, killing any radars that happened to be on. Used the F-35's with SDB and the JASSM/Storm Shadow aircraft to start killing the air defenses, radars and some critical bunkers. At this point, the second CAP wave started causing me some serious losses, including a B-52 (no clue how that happened, had way to many aircraft flying around). Used 6 of the F-15C's as escort of the SEAD aircraft, and managed to hold off most of the extra fighters. Managed to sneak the B-2's in to kill their targets. Finally, pushed in with the bombers and blew up a fair number of the ground targets- took some more losses to short range SAMS and CAP taking off from the close in air field.
Wrapped it up by grabbing the pilot out - with some stupid losses there, but overall, nothing terrible.

I really enjoyed it! It's a great and challenging mission, I'd say I like it almost as much as Frisian Flag. Even my frustration with the Roland made it play better for me.

Just a quick question re. No-Fly-Zones:
Shortly after taking off from Nellis, my OCA assets start lofting Meteors and AMRAAMs over the NFZ surrounding Yucca against the OpFor fighters. Is that OK ROE-wise as long as no aircraft enters the NFZ?
(It's not OK eficiency-wise, that's for sure [:-][:D])

- incorporates some Lua
- tweaked SAM behavior when EW radars get taken out
- tweaked some radar blinking behavior (now they dont teleport but actually switch off and on the radar, so it can still be destroyed)
- tweaked behavior of enemy follow on scrambling fighters
- updated to DB 420
- input some values for scoring (no more easy Triumphs [:)] )
- added a note in the briefing that you're not supposed to loft missiles through the blocked airspace on the south side
- added some altitude overrides and number on station tweaks.

Just loaded the other day to give it my first serious try and I was wondering about all the new & nice features of 1.06 and how they would interfere with the "no landing, refueling and taking off again" rule of this scenario. I see you took care of this for me [:D][&o]

So far, so good [:)] I'll finish first the "old" version as I already had a game running (my Typhoons achieved 12:1 on the first air-to-air engagement [:D] didn't want to lose this edge [:D]) and try the updated scenario later. Is it my subjective impression or AMRAAM PK has been vastly improved?
With the air picture more or less clear now, I need some piece of advice re. planning the "land campaign". I've planned the following:
· Take out the SA-20 Gargoyle with Storm Shadows preceded by TIALD decoys. Alternatively, I could lure the SAM into firing at long distance to deplete its stocks, but I find this tactic a bit "gamey" if used abusively.
· Attack North and South mobile defenses to create "safe corridors" (safe, well...you know [:D]) for,
· the Strikers (B-2, F-15E, etc.)
However (after messing up a bit with Mission Editor and fu***** up take off times [:@]), I found out that the SA-20 (and even the SA-10) are capable of shooting down Paveway bombs, so the Storm Shadows will be a joke for them. Without taking down the SA-20 first, I need to close to knife range at very low altitude, which is going to be extremely difficult given the tons of AAA and SHORADs in the area [:-]
Of course, I could try and test what happens, but somehow I've become attached to my little simulated pilots [:D]
Any ideas? [&:]

AMRAAM pk varies with proficiency setting of the unit (it will actually be more improved in 1.07
) so that might give you that impression.
I'm assuming you mean MALD decoys, TIALD is the old Tornado targeting pod used in Desert Storm etc before being replaced by Litening.
The long distance depleting hopefully should be negated by prosecution area usage? If it does work (against any SAM) please let me know against which SAM type

Just finished the scenario with an Average score of 549. Too many losses, I guess. Some could have been avoided, others couldn't. Not happy with the outcome, I'll replay it in the future.
All in all, a very fun and challenging scenario. Not for begginers, though. Neither for micromanaging-haters [:D][:D][:D] Sometimes you have to be at two or three or four places at the same time, directing land strikes, intercepts, checking that your sim-pilots do not take the wrong turn when RTBing...[:D] You have to be very careful as well when choosing land targets, as your strike assets are finite and the air defenses formidable.
Some comments:
· the "bad guys" where able to fire their AA-12s from their safe heaven over No-Fly-Areas, whereas my own assets could not fire against planes inside those No-Fly-Areas. Was this intended? Sometimes it felt as fighting with one hand tied to your back [:D]
· making your planes take off in the intended order is a PITA [:-] micromanaging big time [:D]
· Best way to deal with a SA-20 Gargoyle type of AD, which can even shotdown JASSM, HARMs, JDAMs...? what a beast!
· Viper 99's rescue was a very nice sub-scenario!

I am also submitting it for the Scenpack.
Whats changed? Not a whole lot but:
- Overlays are now loaded automatically via new 1.07 functionality and are mostly JPG instead of PNG to reduce filesize
- Running latest Database
- Some minor WRA settings for the AI
How to install:
- Download the linked .zip file
- Extract the included .scen and the attachments folder to a scenario folder of your choosing in the Command scenarios directory.
- Play the scen, overlays should load automatically (it can take a little while and sometimes maybe you should move the map around a bit to get them to kick in)
- If you need help, let me know!
Feel free to give it a go. Hopefully theres no gamebreaking issues so I am going to submit it to the pack right away as an update, but if you do see a problem please post!

I tried running your scenario and I cant get the overlays to automatically display. I'm sure that I'm probably doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
I installed your files to the following directory: (See Picture)

I start the scenario and the "Event Overlayload has been fired" is displayed but I get no overlays.
I ran your Action Lua commands in the script console (with no errors) but I still dont get overlays.
