Supply and bridges

The team behind the award-winning game Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive early days of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris is the first in an innovative series of operational World War II wargames that also include a strategic element. The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris simulates Germany’s military successes in Poland and France in 1939 and 1940 (including also a hypothetical “Sea Lion” invasion of Great Britain).

Supply and bridges

Post by MTTODD »

Playing case yellow and doing quite well, when I realised that most of my units had red dots.

I then realised that I had not been repairing the blown brides as I had been advancing! (still a beginner at this game)

Would I be correct in assuming that this could be a major reason for being out of supply, or are there other more important reasons ?

I had been making sure that units were close to their HQs and located near roads.

Many thanks for any help.

I like the game a lot, but do not find the supply rules very transparent.

Yes blown bridges will affect your supply. Also distance from your HQ and to the top level HQ.

There is a supply overlay that will show how your supply is travelling over the map. I haven't played in a while so I can't remember where the button for that is.....?
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"
