Now comes a very painful post. Rufus got to post his morale attacking battle snapshot. Here is the sad result of a
Chinese assault on the Japanese victors of that battle. After air and artillery attacks, and multiple commanders
lending their influence, the Chinese gave it their all and were decisively repulsed. They will come back, but this
gamble did not pay off, and the results were rough.

The British have a mission on the Iberian peninsular for our American cousins, the Brits will brief the US commander via the proper channels. It will come in the form of request not a order.

Wow, and he didn't lose a single tank. [X(] That armour must have gotten a massive experience boost.
I think they key to your loss may be the fact that your opponent has quite a few AT guns, they are extremely deadly to armour, his remaining tanks will have made short work of your infantry as they have got no AT guns or bazooka's.

No excuses. Reasons aplenty!

Your analysis seems on the mark, and the force mix must be adjusted. The Chinese and Americans tried to go over to the offensive far too early, perhaps confused by the presence of the Red Army, thinking the time was ripe to attack. The Japanese have been strong for awhile, and must be worn down.

I own opinion is that Juergen the cheeky scamp, ran a psych number on you. By showing the Japanese success he riled you into a attack that you would normally think better of doing.
You have to watch those Germans their not World Football Champions for nothing.

By the way are those Regular Infantry of Chinese Conscripts.

Game 14 any ETA on the French/British turn been 5 whole days [&:]

1941 September British and French

Marseille liberated :De Gaulle happy

Barcelona Captured :Franco not so happy

Raids over Copenhagen and Kiel with limited success

Milan Artillery and raids no assault

Various allied heavy bomber raids in the Balkans

Artillery from Odessa attempts to blunt the German armored thrust towards that city

North Atlantic RN commences submarine sweep

Note to other players had to restart had a odd result around Odessa city allowed me to move 5 more units than the city stacking limit then proceeded to eliminate all the artillery once the barrage was finished with no survivors.

Note to Tom : The artillery bug was one I found in Game eleven I suspect.

Asia was fairly quiet as the Americans and Chinese position themselves.

In South America the Americans press the Axis.

Off the coasts of Europe the anti-submarine operations continue. The necessity for these is made clear as US troops head for the Iberian peninsula. There, raw American formations prepare to "see the elephant" as they coordinate with British and French forces.

In Asia recent setbacks cannot disguise the overall success of the Allied efforts. The next months should be interesting.

Thanks for the confirmation I had about 7 or so Artillery arriving from Asia plus 3 withdrawing from West of Odessa I did not check the number of Twotribes Soviets in Odessa and since the city kept accepting units I assumed it still had capacity. When I checked the Soviets had about eleven units with my 10 that made 21. I crossed my fingers a fired the barrage at the end of the barrage some 40+ art II were deleted along with their trucks.

I noted another nasty combat result around Tientsin for the Chinese last turn, those Japanese are putting up a stiff resistance.

Dispte of all the propaganda about US sub warfare, the truth is German wolfpacks are operating successfully in the Atlantic and along the coast of Portugal and Spain and in Biscaya. Even North Sea is not save for US and Royal Navy. So dont believe what you are told, believe what you see:
