Modding?

Would it be possible to mod the game to a lower scale say more squad size units and individual vehicles?

Hi Wodin.

Somebody once did this for 'Panzer Corps', over at the Slitherine site, and it worked pretty well too. But I have only ever seen this attempted for that one scenario, which I played single-player.

Thanks for the heads up. Range combat might be an issue.

Tactical Map, a totally new way of gaming
by naturesheva » 05 Mar 2013 14:09
Hi, all my friends and PzC players!

Since the great 1.13 update provided us a few new options in modding, it finally achieved a goal I always want to do: a tactical map for PzC.
Since PzC is not designed for this purpose, some features in a typical tactical game (like BA)cannot be achieved. However, it is still interesting to have some tactical maps in PzC. In a long campaign of a Mod, some tactical maps to show more details of the battle could be very cool, also, in these maps, no core units will be involved. It will be like some "awarding maps" in the major campaign.

So, to test this idea, I made a testing map, the setting is in the Battle of Kursk, a Russian armored company try to capture a small town occupied by Germany.

I list some features in this "TACTICAL MAP"
1.Strength of each unit is based on how many people/vehicle/gun the squad has. For example, the strength of a scout squad will be 4, a Tiger I will be 1.
2.All units will have a longer range.
3.Spotting will increase for infantry units, reduce for tanks.
4.Scout and sniper units will be hard to spot.
5.Other settings has been changed to make the map more balanced.

Welcome to test this map. I really need all your advises!!

Here's the download address:

Please put equipment.pzeqp in to Data Folder
All the map files to My Games\Panzer Corps\Scenario
Select "custom games" in "scenarios", and enjoy the new way of gaming!!
