Any UK "physical" purchasers here?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Any UK "physical" purchasers here?

Post by JudgeDredd »

I was wondering if customs was going to take it's share.

£70 is a lot of money - I can do without a customs charge on it.

Thanks

never had a problem in the past so i'd hazard a guess at no, as tax / vat is paid on game once bought and shipped from Germany to use in the UK, and that's only on the game as the book is Vat and tax free anyway...

and as it doesn't ship until the 16th of this month nobody will know as yet as none will have it either as yet, mine does come till the 25th as it's a present, so won't know for sure either

I'm in the UK and have ordered the boxed copy.

I can't wait. At the moment I've trying out Husky and getting a feel for the game. It's everything I expected it to be.

As a longtime lurker on the Matrix forums I decided to celebrate my purchase by making an account here. I had one years ago but can't remember the login details or even the email address it was tied to.

JD I've been pulled by Customs for a game from here..just had to pay twenty pounds for a thirty pound item from Japan last week because you have to pay the extortionate fee aswell.
