Fixed Units?

Post by Vease101 »

I have played the Case Blue Scenario a couple of times and wondered if it is actually possible to move the Flak Batteries on the left hand side of the map anywhere? The railroad option appears for one of them but the others never have any movement options. Also, why are they designated as Town Militia? [:'(], are they actually Garrison units or something else?

Hello,

in general:

1. the designation should be Garrison (we will change that in 1.06)
2. you need two connected towns for railmovement (see "Good to know" thread)

Case Blue is a four maps lasting campaign, are you talking about its starting map "Voronezh" ?

Thanks for the reply, I was talking about the 11 turn 'Race to Stalingrad' standalone scenario. There are two flak batteries in the bottom left corner and another one half way up on the left side of the map that are unable to move. I think they probably only come into play if you are playing as the Soviet side as they have never come under attack in the three times I have played it as the Germans.

Hello Gansey,
ORIGINAL: Gansey

Those FlaK units do not have transports with them, so they are static.

As soon as you conquer the railbridge over the Mishkova and the town of Tinguta you can transfer the one in Kotelnikov. Mind that you also need resources for that.
