I did. My plan was to get Dakar MIL to France or sink trying. Mission completed.

France continues combat, I think Axis will do the same?

Axis roll 5, Allied roll 1. Combat is over and remaining cruisers sails to Cape St. Vincent box 1.

Allied initiates combat only in Italian Coast. Juicy Trans loaded with Mech is just asking for attack.

I had two options:

1) Take only Italian NAV and try to shoot it down when flying as fighter.

2) Fly as bomber and try to damage Trans.

Option 2 has been chosen. Boxes 0 and 1 are included to combat.

Oh... I have 10 surprise points when only boxes 0 and 1 are included.

I guess I go with surface and use 3 points choosing target.

2 points are used to increase own damage to 2X. 3 points are used to select target.

Italian transporter with Mech sinks. Who takes another X?

It was worth taking naval with France. I realized too late that I can't move my HQ to reorganize artillery if I want to ground strike with it. I almost started to regret taking naval, but not anymore. Perfect success, no matter how this ends.
