Enemy Officer losses

I'm surprised to be notified of named enemy (AI) officers who have been wounded. That would seem to be unusual information to have in the middle of battle - except in the case of wounded officers taken prisoner which doesn't apply to the four instances that have occurred in my last two turns (Williamsburg scenario).

Not to sound like a prick but does it really matter? I know how you feel bc I have felt this way before but I have learned to ignore enemy officer deaths. I guess my point is, prefer the devs to focus on other things than this [;)]

Exactly, Clinchrifles. It doesn't really matter for the gameplay and it adds more color to the battle to know this, even if such info might not have been known by the opposing side.

The whole point of the forum is to raise issues or queries. We don't have to go to the wire on them. Long time since I played FOF Detailed battle so I may be mistaken but I can't recall it happening there - admittedly this is a much more complicated tactical game so its understandable if there have been changes or if beta play demonstrated this was popular with or of little concern to players.

I went back and forth on this. Historically there were scouts and spies that would have reported on these sorts of things after a while, so it's not implausible to report on it, though more realistically the report would be delayed by a few turns. In the end it seemed that most of our testers enjoyed knowing that they had taken out important enemy commanders, and I think that sense of enjoyment was the deciding factor in my decision to make this report public.

What about the delayed options? Can be a nice touch (of course with the lowest priority)
