Flying Both Air Phases Option

Post by jhdeerslayer »

Trying to understand the pros and cons here or best way.

1. So for example, a AS mission in Both Phases. Can this be redundant (or wasteful) since an interception mission will fly automatically if intruders enter a fighters interception space?

2. Naval Patrol - If you fly both air phrases, do you get more interdiction effects then?

Depends. AS is way more than just interception.

No, not more. When you fly your phase (prior enemy logistics) you can isolate enemy port. Flying enemy air phase can prevent your naval lines being shot during your logistics.

Prior this version AS/Naval was always flying both phases. Now you can choose priorities. It also makes much harder for the enemy to detect your AS and try to setup interception.
