UPDATE4 - New feature - Colour Unit Panel

UPDATE4 - New feature - Colour Unit Panel

Hi All,

Just wanted to quickly share with you what I'm currently working on. Based on the user feedback from the twich tv session back in February 25th, I'm implementing adding color to the unit control panel.

Example1, Panzer IV F1 has the main canon malfunctioned so it will show as yellow.

Example2, American Sergeant C is pinned so it will show as orange colour.

Example3, Russian Crew broke (red colour) and the Artillery gun is now not-possessed so it shows with light blue color.

Note: Units/weapons in good order will continue to show with white colour.

This simple feature will allow the user much quicker to visually asses of units/weapons states in a hex, the feature can be turned on/off through menu or toolbar button.

Current Color rules (not final)

Personnel Units:

1) Panic/Out of Command, Broken, Broken+ = Red
2) Tired, Pinned = Orange

Support Weapons/Ordnance:

1) Malfunctioned = Yellow

Placed Demolition Charge = Light Green

Not possessed Support Weapons or Ordnance = Light Blue

AFV:

1) Unconfirmed Kill, Immobilized, Panic/Out of Command, Shocked, STUNNED = Red
1) Stunned, Mired, Bogged, Failed Radio Check = Orange

AFV - Weapons:

1) MA, Bow, Coax, AAMG Malfunctioned = Yellow

Note: if an AFV is Immobilized, this takes priority so the color of the AFV will be red regardless if the AFV weapons are functioning or not.

In all other conditions (If Control Panel button is not enabled on the tool bar) white color will be used.

Very good idea! Now we can immediately see that unit on the map. Peter, there's a bug during friendly rout segment. My routed unit in terrain not subject to interdict (like brush for examoke) are fired from enemy.
Whwn update 4? I hope in september... Peter, thank you for your job and your attention to our feedback!!!

I don't have an ETA for the UPDATE4 because there are still features that I need to work on.

Ticonderoga60, a broken unit cannot be interdicted in brush because brush has a hindrance. You can only interdict into clear terrain (meaning no terrain DEF bonus or hindrance).

Peter, I know the rule. Is the enemy that doesn't know the rule! When MY broke unit goes in broken route in NO interdiction ex, the enemy fire at me. Excuse me for my not very good english...

Ok, thanks for your feedback Ticonderoga60, I will take a look. I'm assuming you are running latest version of the game, any chance you have a saved game for me to take a look?

No Peter, now Ido not have. Sometimes I noticed that even than BU AFV enemies BU can interdict my routing broken unit. When this happens, I will include the saved file. For the moment, have you a very good july! (with update 4 naturally....)
