No I haven't changed anything, I'm playing as the Germans & I have only seen it with the Russian mechanized. Apparently it is caused by slow download speeds via dropbox so if you upload it again using dropbox there's a good chance it will happen again.

I have same problem about Russian Mechanised.

Are these all isolated incidents? I would like to know if there is a problem with the mod or if this is a dropbox problem. For me everything works well. I will double check though.

I have re-uploaded 7.2 for anyone that was having issues with the bitmaps.

Version 8.0 will be released at some point this month based on the changes made in 1.09 by the developers and other balance changes I will be making, including some additional content and updated NATO sprites, building off SIPRES great work.

Still the same problem for me, have you tried to download it yourself, if not try it to see if you get the same problem.

Just downloaded, and started a new game. Seems it is working fine.

check the unit_sprites.png file in the Major_04\Bitmaps\_Fall Weiss II - 7.2 folder & look at the Russian Mechanised & see if they're all there.

Ok Thanks everyone! I think I see the problem, with USSR I forgot that some Level 3 Infantry Tech will require additional 3-D unit sprites. I will fix this tonight!

If there was any other problem with the sprites other than the USSR level 3 3-D unit sprites please let me know.

Here is a link to the updated Soviets Unit Bitmaps. You can just replace the contents of Bitmap folder 4 rather than re-downloading the entire scenario. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It's not just the Soviets Unit Bitmaps that are broken all the others apart from the Germans are too.

The 3-D sprites are sufficient for this campaign. I am quite sure all of the slots which I use are finished and the units should display correctly under the existing research tree. The Soviet Mech Division was the exception as I later decided to make the unit eligible for infantry weapons 3, when originally I had only sprites for infantry weapons 0-2.

I've uploaded Fall Weiss II - Version 8.0

This version is based on the base campaign from 1.08. I will update with changes from 1.09 once the developers finish beta and release the version.

Major changes from Fall Weiss II version 7.2:
- New NATO Sprites created by Phalen, based on the NATO sprites created by Spires. - Thank you both!
- Added some new what if decisions in very specific scenarios
- Tank Divisions are now cheaper to build (175 MPP) and can upgrade to Tanks Level 5
- Mountain Divisions bonuses in mountain terrain have been increased to +2 ground combat, +10% Damage Evasion, +1 Entrenchment and +1 Action Points.
- Added some additional units to the map to start the campaign
- USSR AI will now not surrender unless Baku is also captured
- Added additional scripts to increase German Industry beginning in 1943
- Romanian Oilfield increased to value of 50 MPP
- Invested 1 chit in Naval Warfare (Italy)
- Added Mine To Portugal
- Increase Anti-Air Combat values vs Aircraft
- Added Some Foreign Volunteer Units for Germany (avoiding SS designations)
- Added some additional units for USSR AI on higher levels in 1942 and 1943
- Some other tweaks to scripts, AI research/diplomacy
- Fixed the missing USSR Mech. Division Level 3 3-D Sprite

Hi Crispy, I just started a new game using the latest version. By the way I must honestly say that it is difficult for me to recognize the German and Polish units because their color is too similar and I am colour blind.

Italians too are too similar to Germans.

Hi Sad Ham,

You can still use Sipres' original design if the color is more suitable. Simply replace the bitmap folder in the campaign with this one.

I'm curious as to how the new NATO sprites are received? I was a little surprised by the color change by Phalen but I quickly warmed to them.

I've made a lot of changes so far, if there is any comments on balance they are very welcome!

I've tried the Sipres ones, but I prefer yours. Not good for my colour blindness, but it easy to reconize Army from corps.

The Army/Corps/Division distinctive color gives a really better reading and Thanks to Phalen to arrange Tech level for each nation Airforce.
However for the Nations colors I like so so...
The soviets rendering is good but I prefer the Vanilla colors for all others nations.

After all anything is just a question of taste or perception

- UK will now invoke the Anglo-Portuguese Alliance in some games for variability
- Italy will receive 2 Littorio Class Battleships in 1940 rather than 1
- Increased Strength/Experience of Graf Spee if returned to port safely
- Fixed a scenario where the Vichy Collaboration policy would not initiate
- Decreased Soviet AI Bonus Units at the Intermediate or Higher Level
- Lowered the cost of establishing some German Trade Agreements
- Added some more what if events in specific circumstances

Any help; just spent over two hours trying to get this to go. The Fall Weiss shows in my campaign folder; shows a Fall Weiss 8.2 cgn file but does not show a DAT file; when load the game only the original campaigns show up.
