RE: Reverse 4-player AAR.
Ignore that - the program has assumed the notional is in play in coming up with the 12. A bit confusing as written but at least its not a bug. So... why would anyone say no to using a notional?
Edit: Ah it looks like the notional is disorganised so if you use it there is an additional + 1.
So if used its 5:1 +6 = 62 vs 12
If not it must be 5:1 +5 = 62 vs 11
All before HQ support and aircraft.

Is it 62:12 or 62:11 depending on the notional is used or not? Fractional roll can have some significance here. Even though air support can shake things up a lot.

Yes, my point is the way it is presented on the form. Ideally - and intuitively - it should have shown the 11 NOT the 12 for those not familiar with the rule. But no biggie.

So after all that the odds are:
5:1 +6 62 vs 12 (with notional)
If you choose to remove the notional its:
5:1 +5 62 vs 11

Do the French want to include Billotte's defensive HQ Support for the southern attack?
The odds are 58:14 (I believe +2 for the disorganised units)

General Billotte, upon hearing reports of a German build-up in the Ardennes, orders his Army Group reserves to support Huntziger's 2nd Army.
The Luftwaffe are ordered to remain on the ground for the initial assaults. Do the French want to add any aircraft?

Billotte's sensible request for artillery and tank support is thwarted by time. The French troops simply fail to move quickly enough to get into a position to assist Huntziger before the German attack starts. However, they know that if they can hold the Germans for long enough then help is on its way..... (a 7 is thrown).
These are the three attacks

Chengchow falls and is occupied by the Japanese, but across the Pacific Ocean the event is barely noticed in Washington (an 8 is thrown).
West of Brussels Kleist's panzers steamroller through Blanchard's 1st Army. Student's paratroopers cause panic in the French rear-area and the tanks of the German 8th Mechanised Corps link up with the Fallschirmjager close to the French border. (A 5 (10) is thrown).
The French lose two units and the shattered result is converted to a retreat. I don't ask which units as I assume the DIV and the MIL are the obvious choice here.
The French XIV Mechanised Corps, commanded by Lt-Gen Charles DeGaulle is forced to retreat across the border into Lille.

French chooses blitz in hope to save both AT gun and better INF. Germany can easily reorganize all units.

Once again in a critical hex the German 'war machine' fails to deliver (the fractional odds fail and a 2 is thrown).
The Germans lose many engineers trying to ford the Meuse - the 1st Engineer Division has practically ceased to exist. The only positive is that they managed to form a bridgehead across the river that was then exploited by the assault pioneers.
However, the French retreat in good order from the forest back into France, while 3rd Army will take some time to recover from this brutal engagement.

The program has retreated X Corps to Billotte's hex. Where do you want the other two units to go? I guess the AT will go to Billotte too but what about the other INF?
Edit: Okay I can't see Mayhemizer on the line and I can't save the game so will make a decision for the French. Two units are retreated by the computer - that leaves the third which has one of three hexes allowed. I will move it to the one east of Paris so that it provides cover for the approaches to the capital (the alternatives were the forest southeast and the hex with the Metz Militia).

Air Rebase:
Japan
A Ki-51 bomber unit rebases to Kweilin.
Italy
Superareo requests that at least half of the fighters of Stormo3 be returned to Italy. However, in view of the pretty wasteful expenditure of an Offensive Chit, Adolf Hitler is in no mood to muck around and personally intervenes, making it quite clear to Mussolini that yes, Italy can have their fighters back this impulse - but if they take that option there will be no oil and other resources heading south to Rome....your choice Il Duce....
The Falco is ordered west into southern Belgium with a Hitler guarantee that Italy will have her aircraft back just as soon as possible.
Germany
Fighters from JG6 are ordered to western Belgium
Reorganisation:
Germany
Generals von Rundstedt and von Bock combine to reorganise all army units of Panzer Group Kleist and all bar one division of 3rd Army. JG5 and StG3 are also reorganised as the Germans expect a response from the Allies.

RE: Reverse 4-player AAR.
Guys, I've taken a look at both AAR's you are running. To make things far far more interesting I'd recommend that you mix up player sides to balance skill level rather than putting both experienced players on same side in both games. The games are quite a bit lopsided because of this.
In any case, thanks for the effort spent to put in AAR's.

Hi jjdenver, we are running four games - The first two with Orm/warspite1 vs AllenK/Mayhemizer
tm.asp?m=4061938
tm.asp?m=4207255
and the second two (Nordic 1 and Nordic 2) as Mayhemizer/Orm vs AllenK/warspite1.
tm.asp?m=4333300
tm.asp?m=4333723
So we have mixed the teams up.
Interesting that you believe the first two games have two x experienced players on the same team. Which of the two teams do you believe are the "experienced" pair? I have played Orm at a few games now and I would say he is an exceptional wargamer - whereas I am a total muppet - at this game as well as everything else I've ever played. I have never played with Mayhemizer but AllenK is clearly pretty good at this game too.
Why do you say they are lopsided? Orm/warspite1 are winning the first and AllenK/Mayhemizer are winning the second.
I am intrigued [:)]
