After a brief exchange of signals between their respective governments, the Allies decide not to press the issue regarding initiative. Do the Axis wish to go first or second?
warspite1

I say, thank you for asking. We would very much like to go first please, if its not too much trouble? .... what? Oh sorry, we're the bad guys. In that case:

Wir mussen zuerst zu gehen dumbkopf! (or something)

Sehr geëhrter Herr Warspite:

Wir müssen immer zuerst gehen Dummkopf! [:-]

Italy:
FTR2 (CR 42) -> Turin
NAV2 -> Rome
The Italian FTR2 appears to have been placed in Rome as well.

Revised game file on its way to everyone with the correct FTR deployment.

No declarations of war.

Land: Germany, Italy
Combined: Japan

No Port Strikes. No naval air.

Japan sends three transporters to China Sea and loads two infantry and one artillery.

Japanese naval bombers target Kunming for no effect (2).

Germany launch 4 Stukas against three French front line hexes. France has two fighters available for interception. And one antiaircraft on standby. Will France intercept any of the ground strike missions? If not, will the AA be used?

The best fighter intercepts two Stukas and it lands later to hex west of the other fighter.

AA will fire, target remains unclear until air combat is over. Is AA gun in NW of two Stukas?
If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

The Bf 109-E7 from Jagdgeschwader 5 in the Ardennes (6-factor) attempts to intercept. If it survives then it lands from whence it came.

The air combat begins with France aborting a German aircraft. Front bomber or front fighter?

The French AA is located in the middle of the ground strikes and can fire at them all. However, it is only strong enough to affect one raid. It can fire at one of the two northern hexes and then it gets lowest die out of 6 dies. Or at the most southern hex where it gets lowest die out of 5 dies.

Will the AA guns fire at the raids or remain silent?

If there is HQ in northern most hex, AA gun fires there.

Had a crash during the AA fire step. Redoing it now.

Edit: third time is a charm.
