Germany At War: Operation Barbarossa 1941 is an elegant turn-based design, inspired by classics such as Panzer General, but with more of a historical focus. You command the German forces through a branching historical campaign covering the entire 1941 campaign as well as part of the 1942 campaign. Dozens of scenarios stretch from the Soviet border all the way to Archangel and towards Astrakhan, the original military goals of Operation Barbarossa. Step into a wargame where your performance will rewrite history, through an addictive combination of compelling gameplay, realistic events and challenging battles.
I think we should harmonize the names of the French tanks of the same model used by different countries for greater clarity. It is always possible to rename the unit in the game or with the Editor if you want.
The Romanian R35 could be renamed "Renault R35" as the other models :
@terminator;
Yugoslavia: yes they can get the R35 if there is a historic evidence they organized them into units of at least battalion size.
France: I added France as a nation (in addition to Free France) and all new units are under their control. The FF are actually an accident, they must have slipped through, their flag is not in the game etc.
Names of equipment: i try to give them the designation the respected armies gave them e.g. Romanina named German panzers III & IV T-3 and T-4 so GaW uses those names. If there is no specific name that was used, there is no reason not to unify it as you suggested for clarities sake.
Poland got a bunker garrison unit, though their defenses were not very effective in 1939 they sure had some fortified areas.

I have finished the Belgrade 1941 scenario (just need some tests for balance). A R35 battalion could be usefull.

For the Western Front, Norway is missing as a nation.
added PzKpfW. 35R 731(f), the captured R35 to the German units.
@terminator: We can add any nation quite fast, if there are only dummy (optically not fitting) equipments in it. It could be used to create maps with those placeholders until the real graphics for e.g. Norwegian infantry is done. As of yet, i always tried to bring in both at the same time, but if the users don't mind...
What about the Spanish nation and Regular '39 German infantry division as a placeholder unit for the Spanish legion?
(and that will be the only Spanish unit WW2 ever sees, I guess)
The 16th Army has changed its plans for Tikhvin offensive choosing more aggressive tactics in all directions, so the Spanish legion was sent to attack together with the German forces. They even got some decorated heroes with specialized offensive skills.
The art of war is simple and esay to understand but fighting a war is hard.
Thank you for having added the R35 for Yugoslavia.
I will add this unit to my scenario Belgrade 1941.
The texture seems a bit dark on the image but I don’t know what it looks like in the game :
during my research i found that Yugolsavia had mobilized a cavalry division so i added one for them. The model is the one that is also used for Poland, as i did not find any reference to which uniforms their horsemen had.
@terminator: You are welcome. Here is a screenshot with a tank and a cavalry battalion added to your Belgrade map(no fog of war):

another easy catch was the Bf109 E-3 for the Kingdom of Yugoslavia (which they had quite a lot of considering the size of their airforce), only needed a little modification of the texture and will be available in 1.09.
Hope this is the right spot. I purchased this game when it first came out but had not played it much. I got a new machine and was thinking about installing it again. I am a little confused however, all this talk about French, and Polish units is that a mod of some sort or is that part of the latest update?
Was or is the game updated to encompass all of WW2?
Really behind the times on this one so please forgive my dumb questions.
