Some bugs - some definite and some probable

Post by Nachtmahr667 »

Hello,

so I've come across a couple of things, some of which are definite bugs, while others are probable bugs or broken.

1. I've started a game as Axis under v31 and have just taken the last Soviet population center. The result is that when I click on "end turn", the game stops and becomes unresponsive.

2. Tehran gets added to the Soviet morale number and thus needs to be taken for the USSR to surrender. Is this really intended?

3. The resource point on Cyprus doesn't seem to get transported away.

4. I tinkered around with the editor a bit, so I'm not 100% sure it's not my accidental fault, but there's no rail line in hex 145,61 when I guess there should be one.

5. The hexside between 194,9 and 194,10 looks perfectly passable, but it is impassable. If it is intentionally impassable, it should be made clearer graphically.

6. Research is way too easy/fast. I had '45 tech in 5 areas with Germany in 1941, and in 3 areas with Italy. This needs to be toned down.

Thanks for the great support, Alvaro![:)]

Cheers!

#1 should be fixed in v4

#2 This is not as intended. I checked the code and by ownership only that country gets the morale. Which scenario is this? In the later ones the USSR has Persia. I might have accidentally swapped owners

#3 It is a strategic resource. As long as it is in supply it gets added as a +1% percentage increase to overall production.

#4 Funny you should mention that because I just noticed it myself last night.

#5 You are correct I will fix that for v4

#6 Yea there was a formula error then I replaced it with another wrong formula. Should be fixed for v4

Your welcome.

It is the 1939 scenario.

I had every Soviet population and production center (within the USSR's borders) occupied, but the Soviets still had one morale point left. I concluded that it must be Tehran, and sure enough, once I took that too, the game had a reaction. It became unresponsive. So I guess the problem is indeed Tehran.

Have a great weekend![:)]
