Confirmed fixed for 1.04b

1) The multiplayer game that was unable to be resigned from is fixed! great!
2) game name wrap fixed.
3) Oiler resupply of ships fixed, now gives proper supply level when used on fleet! great.
4) undo regarding entrenchment is fixed.
5) units can now disembark from copenhagen appropriately!
6) all scenarios clear of unit misdesignations! i believe

1939,1940, 1941 scenario's are clean of unit errors I believe!

1942 scenario is clean of unit errors as well.
1943 scenario clean of unit errors.

BUG-

units displacing enemy units is still buggy.

So when a tank or any unit, that is attacking by itself displaces an enemy unit it can not move into the displaced position of enemy unit until you unclick the unit, then reselect it, then it can make the move. Still buggy.

Yes, this ( Fixed advance after combat (caused by fixing flashing)) is still no good

the specializations bug is fixed ( not being able to select which one to apply)

So what files do we need to download exactly? I mean is it still just a single patch file or do we need to download scripts as well?

Ok. I figured it out. But this method is very messy and will not be so user friendly for non PC literate types.

I would suggest creating an actual single beta patch file that has a version number.

That is the industry standard. Advantages are simple. Accessible to more players. And much easier to make sure players are on the same version and can also report bugs and reference a version that the bug is in.

yea... but ill take what i can get to get a bug free or near it version of the game to play. and we are able to playtest the patch before its finally released 2 weeks from now guy. Ill take alvaros links any time if this makes the next patch come out that much better.

That's weird I just tested this and it was working. Let me get on this for Wednesday

Alvaro did you mean to remove the beach by Oslo? because there is none anymore. bug?

ok just a heads up then, norway is missing Oslo beach now, making the invasion a bit annoying with an active british player :)

I have not installed the Beta (running version 4), but here are some bugs/errors I spotted. Maybe already fixed in the beta, but if somebody could check it, that would be great.

1) I see a strange railway line in hex 140,62 (UK). I don't think that is intended.

2) The name of hex 145,60 (Netherlands) is wrong. It should be called IJsselmeer (Lake IJssel), not Zuider Zee. In the early thirties the Zuiderzee became a lake after the construction of the Afsluitdijk at 145,61 and was renamed in IJsselmeer.

3) The symbol for cold weather magically dissappears. I was playing a game and cold weather arrived. The symbol was shown. I saved the game, exited and loaded the save game. And poof, the cold symbol was gone now, and never to return either no matter what. Here is the savegame:

There should a cold weather symbol for example in hexes 162,44 and 162,63 (coast of Yugoslavia)

there a bug with supply trucks and units on top of each other.

if you have a plane and corps/division on top of each other and you click through quickly to supply the plane, with say 2 supply trucks in the storage, it will supply the plane, then you have -1 supply trucks, and then you quickly double click the hex the units are in again and you can keep resupply the plane forever, tested out multiple times on different units. seemed to work on most tries.

300% efficiency bombers yum!

it required you to have enough supply trucks to resupply the land unit then the air unit gets confused, and then once its in negatives, you can just keep resupplying infinitely in 1 turn.

Once you go negatives things get a little wonky.

This bug was sometimes occurring for me in 1.003 as well but never to this extent i dont think.

You must have fat fingered a tile in the editor or something because it is in both 1939 scenarios. Are you 100% sure you are talking about Oslo? Hex 155,75 hasn't changed. I looked at both scenarios.

Rail will be fixed - I fat fingered that.

Changed name after research.

Cold symbol in Italy - Yes it should be. I'll take care of that.

Supply Trucks - I fixed that.

Next Beta C will be this Friday.

I guess that's possible since I was checking all the scenarios for issues. But didnt think I saved anything yesterday. Will redownload your files for scenario and see what's up. Thanks

Alvaro I hate to bother you but is there a way to hide the research announcement that you have 1945 tech in the reports window every turn? Unless that's already fixed I haven't gotten 45 tech with this patch yet.

Hmm now the attack thing is working. I wonder if I didnt patch in the right build.

1945 research? Does it keep popping up each turn?
