The Communists push forwards and the CAV overruns the Ki-51 at Tientsin. Where would the Japanese like to rebase it?

The Communists try one attack. Odds are currently 36:5. Do the Japanese wish to add any ground support?

I go with assault as blitz at 7:1 is an automatic success.

The opening of the attack runs into difficulties as units fail to meet their initial objectives on time (fractional failed) but weight of numbers prevail.

The Soviets rebase 3 FTR's forwards to provide some air cover.

CW rebases a CVP from Ark Royal in Malta to Glorious in Italian coast.

No reorgs.

Weather stays mostly fine.

With their limited moves the Japanese move the 4th Siamese Panzer Army to Bangkok, move a warlord into Nanchung and push a Korean TERR into the mountains northwest of Haichow.

The Germans continue to shuffle their meagre forces on the Eastern Front

Italy

The Italians decide Sicily isn't worth the effort and, risking the wrath of Scylla and Charybdis, they leave Messina for the mountains of Calabria

Japan

Two carrier aircraft move to Formosa

The Germans rebase west what they can in the east, but 4 moves isn't enough

M/J 43 Allies 4

Land: CW, USSR, China
Combined: US.

CW Beaufighter from Singapore to South China Sea 3-box.

Naval Movement

US sends CP from Truk to South China Sea. Wasp and South Dakota sail from Manilla to South China Sea 4-box. I decline the intercepts for obvious reasons. Two BB and AMPH in Faeroes Gap put into Edinburgh.

CL San Diego initiates searching. No air is added by the Allies. How about the Japanese? Fighters can make the 1-box, the B5N2 the 2-box. The two not shown on the map are around Hong Kong.

Searches: Allies 3, Axis 10. The Allies find and have 6 surprise points. Naval air is chosen. All the Allied CVP's fly as bombers. How about the Japanese?
