Weird Graphic bug after combat

Post by Clux »

It was fixed after I finished my turn and I have not seen it again, but still I wanted to report it

I have also had this bug, but seems pretty rare. Maybe once or twice after 5+ hours of play.

I've seen it once in all the testing I did - but could not get it to repeat, so couldn't report anything at the time.

Have to squash that. If anybody can figure out how to consistently cause it please do tell me and mail me an autosave to vic@vrdesigns.net with instructions how to exactly repeat.

In any case it is certainly annoying but it does not cause any crash or other problem except for the player to scroll out of the affected area, or to click on the minimap or the flag in the top-left to redraw the map.

I have a save where it consistently is doing it, just moving units around seems to have it happen 1-2 times per turn.

Thanks Saros,

I cannot do it. Do you have an exact sequence after loading save you can do it with?
:(

Sorry to ask, but it seems you are close to pinpointing it.

Best wishes,
Vic

-Declare war on Geneslope.
-Bombard shown unit with rocket launchers.
-Move 1inf HQ to cut off the last hex around said unit.
-Attack with the two assault infantry 1 hex south of the unit.
-On exit from attack screen is all tearing up.

I have another example of the same issue if you want it.

Directly after combat graphics go weird.

Fixed by toggling view units on and off.

Got it. Will be fixed upcoming Open Beta Patch v102-beta2.

It turned out it was linked to having the Assets bottom tab open :/

Big thanks for pinpointing the issue.

p.s: If you ever manage to catch the last map glitch with the history screen getting mixed up feel free to drop another post+save.

best wishes,
