Four Seasons

Post by nukkxx5058 »

When I start the 4 seasons (4S) mod, in the main menu I have several buttons to start a game:

- 4S US
- 4S European
- 4S Southern hemisphere
- 4S two regime duel

And I also have a button named "A New Dawn 3"

Can someone briefly explain what are these and which one I should choose ?

Additional question : any good full range eastern front 41-45 scenario that you guys would recommend ?

Thank you

Thanks for trying it out. It is also getting updated as we speak. Lots of things to do.

Anyway, the top three use are basically random games similar to ANewDawn, but using the Four Seasons graphics, and several other options that come up when you start a game. The main difference is: (1) US replaces Anglo/British with American regimes, (2) European sets up random games with only European regimes, (3) inverts the weather system to be in a southern hemisphere, so cold is to the bottom of the map, and uses regimes that are more in the south.

The last one, I forgot that I put up, is a bit experimental and is meant to be duel between two regimes in which one regime is the aggressor nation. Basically, the aggressor gets to strike first, but then the victim nation gets some bonuses to react. I started to do this because often times when playing the AI it is hard for the human player to be the "bad" guy. The AI gets to move around first, and gets in place before you can, so more often than not, a human player starts defensive, and then counter attacks. I haven't finalized that as well as I would like.

I am in the middle of fixing things up and have a test game going that hopefully will point to the last of the things that are off, like in the last game I discovered that I had heavy flak with a range of two hexes. Rather annoying to find a bug 20 turns into the game. A big change will be the time scale. It will be 1 week instead of two. The reason is that I have been to build some historical scenarios with it, and with two-week turns it is impossible to blitz through Poland or France.

Web telephone service providers have actually come to be much more popular than traditional telephony companies. All thanks to the current breakthroughs in Internet modern technology. These advancements have resulted in cheaper telephone service and more feature-rich solutions.
