Question about 'Exit' key

Post by NefariousKoel »

Just picked up TOS. Impulse buying overtook me and I'm very impressed.

However, I'm wondering about the 'E' Exit key mentioned in the tutorial and elsewhere. I don't see any hexes marked or anything like that. Am I missing something? I've tried on 32 bit and 16 both.

Top left corner. Little red button.

That's it? Guess I knew that. It just sounded like there was someplace I had to go. Doah.

If your refering to an exit area on a campain map (which is diffent from the little red exit button that exits you from the battle module) it should high-lite the hexes in question.

Make sure your using an uppercase E (shift+e) and not 'e'. I did that the first few times and wondered where the exit areas were... then said... Duh! *slaps forehead*

btw... welcome to the addiction :)

Thanks SD... that's what I was looking for and needed (shift+e).

Addiction indeed. :)

So is there a support group to help those who think they need to recover from this game? ;)

A support group? That would imply that someone was actually trying to STOP playing ToS. I can't imagine that. :D

A glimpse of what's beyond
Was it just imagination
Stringing us along?
More things than are dreamed about
Unseen and unexplained
We suspend our disbelief
And we are entertained

[shift + t ] will highlight target areas, if any, on the terrain.

So, by this line of reasoning, Shift+P takes a screenshot and Shift+C is multiplayer chat??? All the hot keys in the appendices are upper case (shift'd)?

Yes to the 1st question, no to the 2nd. Not *all* the hotkeys - x,y,z are not uppercase (shift'd).
