I think they will join WitW with WitE2 in time.

+1
And with a fully functioning naval war as well (individual ships, as in WitP).

You guys are killing me. Maybe I can be like the designer of Campaign for North Africa. He knew it could never be tested all the way through given its complexity. He reportedly was asked what to tell players when they complained it was unbalanced, and he said to tell them they were playing the game wrong. Well we have one advantage over boardgame designers. We can have the AI play against itself to test these monster games (assuming we can make a decent AI), so who knows what might get done. But having a fully functioning naval game and a WitE2 level ground/air game is asking for a game that is beyond what I think is doable given human/financial/computer limitations.

The good old Pasta Point

"Italian battalions not receiving their Pasta Point that have a Cohesion Level of -10 or worse immediately become Disorganized"

Wow I honestly thought he was joking. Just wow. I also cant even imagine the pain of Battalion level counters in a cardboard game.

Fun fact, many contemporary Italian "MRE"s (I don't remember what they're called) contain a shot of liquor with the meal. (I don't think the poor bastards at Stalingrad got them though)

Looking forward to the naval aspect of the game for WiE..

Beautiful as a 1941 or 1943 start for WiE might be, WitE2 took how many years? I think even if it's your dream, you'll have plenty of time to buy, plya, shelve, break back out, play again, and maybe write an AAR, for WitE2 before a WiE.
