Question about the manual

Advanced Tactics is a versatile turn-based strategy system that gives gamers the chance to wage almost any battle in any time period. The initial release focuses on World War II and includes a number of historical scenarios as well as a full editor! This forum supports both the original Advanced Tactics and the new and improved Advanced Tactics: Gold Edition.

Question about the manual

Post by Kuokkanen »

I consider getting this game. But I'll read the manual first, and buy the game after that (assuming I don't give up on the manual first). Steam has a link to the PDF manual, but is it up to the date?

You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

I just took a look, and no it is not up to the latest patch.

However Vics patch notes (which can also be found on this forum) are pretty detailed about the changes.

I might mention too, if you played any of Vics other games (Decisive campaigns... Shadow Empire) you should be familiar with a lot of the concepts. :)

Is updated manual available somewhere?

Blimey Oberst, I thought you were a TOAW loyalist.

Is it still nice in Cyprus, or have you moved? Envious of good weather, stuck in UK. :)
