NAGr 3 is in the game twice

Post by TheFerret »

I think one of them is an early 1942 rename from a starting recon AOG, while the other is part of the big wave of NAGr recon AOGs that comes in May 1942.

There might be similar duplicates, this is just one I noticed.

In GC41 I just see Stab, 1. and 2.
Please specify where you saw dupes. Stab is delayed, the other 2 renames

See my attached save. It's the wave of new NaGr AOG's that arrive in April 42. 1 through 10 or so are duplicates since the old ones did not get withdrawn. Can be seen if you look at the Reserve AOG list.

And in case you didn't see my thread I posted a few days ago, please consider adding a few AOG's of each type that stay in for the whole game. With enhanced TB on, having to constantly check which AOG has withdrawn, then reallocate it's air units to a new one, is unnecessary micromanagement.

game has 16 NAGr of which 12 are disabled (delay 250). All Koluft AOGs rename on T46, most to NAGr and some to FAGr. For some reason the disabled NAGr become active so you have the renamed ones and the former disabled ones. Same with the 3 FAGr renames.
Please check your modified scenario that you did not accidentally enable them.
Do you have Axis/Soviet saves directly before the renames?

See attached.

I only see 4 (12,15,16,4) coming in on T46, but there are more duplicates than that.

I didn't touch any AOG's, only ground units. Didn't know how at the time when I started this.

Your Axis save looks fine, renames properly done and the sleeper dupes did not activate. Please have a look on your saves where the dupes first appear.
Maybe the AI is interfering here, working with the disabled instead of the active AOGs.

It only starts with Turn 47.

I was able to replicate that during the German logistics phase on turn 47, many AOGs with delays of 250 were reset to 0. Have bugged it. Thanks for the report.

Once Stab group arrives games brings appropriate AOG on map (resets delay to 250). So this is WAD.

I found a bug in the code when instead of bringing existing one it creates a duplicate. Will fix.
