2 coastal armies ON MAP

Post by Gam3r »

In my MP game with AtAtack i have 2 coastal armies. One of them in Odessa Fortress, other - and FROZEN.

I suspect that happens because i put coastal corps group in Odessa and when it upgrade to Army TOE game erase old one from MAP (it isn't there already) and put new one on MAP, effectivly duplicating HQ

Can you send me your saves, ideally for a few turns back so I can try to replicate the problem. You can email to 2by3@2by3games.com or attach a zip file here. Ideally all the start of turn autosaves for your game so far. Thanks.

Joel - this happened in one of my playtests and was reported there. The situation is the Corps HQ is in the Odessa city fort when it is renamed into the Coastal Army HQ. Then a ghost appears outside the city with is frozen just as Gam3r says.

If I can get a save just before the ghost appears, that would help. Thanks.

Just to be clear, are you sure they are identical?

There is a Coastal Army in the south that arrives after a few turns into the 1941 campaign and a Coastal Ops Grp Army that starts the game frozen near Leningrad.

They are identical. Unfortunately all of my saves were deleted when I switched over to the release version.

This is the discussion on the bug with more details from the other forum. Unfortunately it was the game against HYLA and I never had the saves. https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4946583

it happens to all corps HQ set to city fortress that later were upgraded to army TOE.

if you detach coastal army from fortress it will erases duplicate from map

Thanks for sending the save. I see the data for the unit says it's in the city fort but also lists another hex. It's actually the same unit being shown in two places (not 2 different HQ units). I tried to set up a test where the unit is in the city fort when it renames, and it worked fine. So I need earlier saves from you to try to figure out what happened to make it get this bad hex data. Please send any you have going back in time. Thanks.
