PBEM++ Server Warning email

Post by Hardradi »

Playing War in the East 2 I just got an email saying that it has been noticed that I downloaded some turns multiple times.

To stop this:
A) Is it best just to load the turn once and do the whole turn without saving (sometimes risky on my old gaming rig)?
B) Or is it sufficient to save each time I go in and have a look even if I haven't done anything (this would be preferred)?
C) Any other suggestions?

Today and sort of a usual schedule is as follows:

- open game on laptop while in bed and having a coffee to see what my opponent has done. I just had a look and dont do anything or save.
- after this I open the game on the big screen on the desktop for a second look. Didnt do anything or save. Closed the game and then went out.
- got home and did most of the turn in about 2 hours. Thought I better save and went and got a coffee before going back to it.
- Have another look, start taking screenshots, sometimes I will save if I do something, sometimes I wont if I haven't done anything.
- Repeat last step

Always save, never just close the game otherwise it will register as a reload.
