Suggestion: a units Reinf/upgrade button

Post by javats »

When turning on a units prioritized reinforcements button(green cross) display a running total of what will be the production points total for all units so selected.
Currently for the Russians I keep a hand calculated total, a real pain.
Thanks
Also as Russian with so many units and so little resources I have to turn off the (E button) R/U for All units, default should be off.

I've found that the estimated total is never really accurate as I've often had one sub sitting at 1 step with priority and everything else with reinforcements off, with 100s of pp dedicated to its repair and the next turn it might be not fully repaired to max 5. I'm obviously missing something... or its working as intended, randomly.:)

I often use the HQs to turn off reinforcements to a wide area within its range.

I'll consider the suggestion. Put it on my list.

I haven't played for a while but in the past naval units only repair one force point per turn, could this be what happens with your SS?

Yeah this is it. Thanks a bunch. [&o]

Funny how I never figured that out! Might have to adjust my U-boat tactics or convoy tactics now that I have this info!
I don't always repair my U-boats to full strength and I am sending out U-boats to raid when they have 4 strength just so they didn't stay in port another turn. But this would make their repair even longer if they took more damage and they also have a greater chance of being sunk outright.

I would also like to see the two functions (Reinforcements and Upgrades) separated. Often I find I would like to stop upgrades to a unit, especially expensive ones like air and naval, but do want them to receive reinforcements to make up for losses. Right now its all or nothing.

kennon...I agree.

I try to fix 10 units...and some don't get fixed because it upgrades the units earlier in the queue...which I do not want to have happen yet.

A listing of units and cost per unit of what was DONE would be helpful. what was upgraded at what cost. what was reinforced at what cost.
