Can assets placed in a hex be removed?

Can assets placed in a hex be removed?

I see that it is possible to redeploy AA guns, but is it possible to move/destroy others, e.g. coastal defences. I don't see a way but thought I'd ask.

No. Can't move the Atlantic Wall.

My concern was specifically about demolishing (rather than redeploying) a one hex coastal defence in New Caledonia.
