DXVK - Workaround against the battle Crashes

Greetings Guys here is a Workaround against the Crashes in battle until the patch comes out:

Use DXVK dll's so that directx 11 is converted to Vulkan.

Use Version 1.9.4,
Edit: 1.10 works too now for whatever reason.

How to Install:
Optional but recommended, copy the entire game folder
Download dxvk from the Webpage: https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases
Extract the dxvk-1.9.4.tar.gz file with 7-zip
copy the dll files from the folder x64 to the Game folder were the Distantwolds2.exe is located


Pro's:
You can play without battlecrash
More FPS in general

Con's:
The whole game is displayed darker
Not testet for long playtime if other crashes occur.
When zoomed in to the Planetmap and zoomed out again the FPS drop huge when zoom in again the FPS are coming back.

I need to add another issue in this Workaround.
When you have visited a battle and zoom out again in Galaxyview there is a huge fps drop.

Until you zoom in again.
When you first start the game with this Workaround the Galaxymap is fast too.

Thanks a ton for this info Merlinoz! Works like a charm with my R9 270 crash on battle issues. The brightness and off colours can be mostly corrected with custom colour on the game profile too.

I would like to add that for me performance was terrible at first with the fix, but booting into the game with windowed mode made it much better. Any attempt to swap to or from windowed without a game reset, or changing the game resolution without a game reset made most my frames vanish.
