[1.0.2.2] Ship gets stuck in "jumping" state

Post by vaiperu »

This ship is stuck in "jumping" state for at least a month. Only when I zoom in on it does it actually initiate the jump.

I have the same issue.

Some additional info:

- ships stuck in that state only in "zoomed out" mode. Once you zoom in into "smooth mode", it jumps into hyperspeed.
- it doesn't happen from the start, only after tier 2-3 tech researched or repairing some advanced ship.
- I noticed it only for ships with interceptors/bombers. Bug probably related to inability for strike crafts to bay load while in "zoomed out" mode.

2 files attached:
- image with ship stuck in "jumping" state. Game paused. If I unpause while zoomed in, ship soon goes into hyperspeed. If I unpause while zoomed out, ship will be in this state forever. Note: selected is some intercepters behind the ship.
- save game. Ship is in 1st fleet, first ship "Belligerent rampage"

This is definitely a mid-late game issue, everything slows down to a crawl and ships/fleets fail to move/jump unless you zoom in. It basically is completely unplayable once you get into the game which sucks.

Hopefully this can be resolved quick because the latest patch didn't help at all.

[1.0.3.0]
A small fleet of 4 with exact the same speeds get's spread out over a few systems because 2 ships were constantly kept in calling-in-our-fighters-while-sending-out-or-fighters-state. One I've managed to send on it's way a while ago, the second one took much longer. Turned out stopping them wasn't enough as it instantly changed to move-to-ship... in (obviously) manual mode thus preventing their fighters to dock in, again.
