Feature Request

Would love to see the following;

1. Variable weather (ability to set probabilities and/or define by turn in editor).

2. Two weather layers - ground conditions & Visibility, the latter affecting Intel and air operations.

3. Variable schedule for unit Reinforcement/Withdrawal. Perhaps a % chance per turn.

4. Combat Engineer mine laying and ability to improve dug in units to a higher level.

5. Extended variable retreat - ability to set maximum variable retreat distance.

Sure, weather is something that needs to be done all right.

There is Ground Conditions (MUD, SNOW) already done, but no snow in July :D

In general it takes longer than the length of these scenarios to place an effective minefield (same with Forts / Entrenchments) but sure, can add it to The List!

Can look at the others too.

Mud Weather. Mud weather reduces unit Movement Factors by 50%. In addition, Mud weather reduces readiness recovery rates for all land units, and Air and Ground Assets by 50%. Note: Mud weather represents rain, sleet, melting snow, and/or ground thaw that results in muddy terrain.

Frozen Weather. Except for ski units, Frozen weather reduces all land unit Movement Factors by 25%. In addition, Frozen weather reduces readiness recovery for all land units, and Air and Ground Assets by 50%. All Major and Minor Rivers are considered frozen; their hexside movement restrictions are suspended during Frozen turns. Note: Frozen weather represents snow, ice storms, and/or ice-cold temperatures.
