Thanks for the update. I noticed this:

CHANGE Added terrain to single islands that should be a non-airbase

There are a couple of islands that need the terrain change, hexes 135,19 and 126,24. There are three islands by Suva that are classified as beach hexes and wondering if that was what you intended. Does this mean that you could conduct an assault against Suva by landing on those three hexes? The hexes in question are 125,25 - 126,25 and 125,24.

Sorry, I made two mistakes the two hexes are 124,25 and 126,24 and they are hill hexes. I ran a hotseat test which I should have done before posting and as you state, air units cannot base on them. I just assumed that they would be the same as the hexes around New Caledonia which I believe you changed to jungle.

In regards to the three beach hexes around Suva, 125,25 126,25 and 125,24 it seems odd that only hex 125,24 is adjacent to Suva.

"FIXED Air units don't expend operation points on failed searches for ships"

This has changed my tactic for soaking off air attacks prior to amphibious invasions. Does the air unit still expend effectiveness on failed searches thus making subsequent air attacks less dangerous?

Thank you for your time.
