Mods.

Strategic Command: American Civil War gives you the opportunity to battle for the future of the United States in this grand strategy game. Command the Confederacy in a desperate struggle for independence, or lead the Union armies in a march on Richmond.

Mods.

Is there any way to see what the Mods will look like without enabling one and restarting the game to see how each one will appear?
Thanks.

You shouldn't have to restart the game. For example, I was in the Flag Mods deciding which of the three CSA flags I wanted to use..selected one, hit ok, wait for it to refresh, and then went to the production screen and the map both to see how they looked on the units (both NATO and 3D Sprite and the HQs. I looked at all three and never had to get out of the turn I was in. (I was recording this atm also). Make sure you deselect (the X off) and check the next one, let it refresh...and your good.
Hope that helps. 🤠

Great, that worked. Do you have any opinion about the fog of war Mod vs. the standard fog of war?
Thanks again.

I like both the default and the Mod FoW version. BiteNibbleChomp> BNC (The Dev of ACW,) introduced this mod and has been in the SC ecosystem for quite a long time btw. Nice to see that here and forgot to mention thanks in the Beta. Well here it is Ryan...Thanks! 😎

Was typing so fast while waiting for an MP turn...I had typed BiteNippleChomp. A little too risque, or is it? ha😈ha

The mod makes the shadow on hexes obscured by the fog of war significantly darker and thus easier to see. Here's a comparison I put together when I originally made this for WIE:

Aha! This is the answer I've been looking for. Could not find any info on the community pack mods anywhere? But now I can see the difference with this tip thanks! Are the flag mods for changing with the historical timeline of the changing flags?

This is great and I never knew this was available for all of the SC games. Where can I find it to plug into the rest? I guess just copy the folder into the other games mods folder?

There's a different version for the other games (because ACW adds river tiles), download can be found on the forum post here.
