NEWS FLASH! GREAT NEWS!

Post by siRkid »

The one you have all been asking for!

The improvment that will put a smile on your face!

The one, the only, Course and Speed roll-over! [:D]

Added request W4.10-R002 - Put course and speed in the TF sighting reports during the execution phase and also put just the course (can’t put speed for technical reasons) in the info pop-up (the little black box that you get when you hover your mouse over a TF in the orders phase).

Note that this is in next build and the testers do not even have it yet. I just could not hold on to this info.

Cheers!

Sounds good - it will also put just that little bit of extra historical 'feel' on the game to have this in the sighting reports

I assume my buddy Leo Apollo went ape when he saw this since he didn't post in this thread yet. Perhaps he's been hospitalized in nearest mental institution.

This was a feature he was asking for, for like ages. [&o]

See what you've done, who am I going to play WITP PBEM when the game gets finished? [:-]

Seriously - great news!

Please take care to include the possibility of mistake in course reporting (like, up to 90 degrees to real course, depending on weather, experience etc.) I know, just what devs have been asking for - MORE feature REQUESTS!

Got to love it! Thanks Matrix.

Yea, I think it was Leo who "dreamed of vectors".

Thanks!!!

Matrix/2By3 you once again showed how great you are - keep up _FANTASTIC_ work! [&o]

And yes... it was me who asked for this long ago and wrote: "I have a dream... a dream of vectors!" ... [:)]

BTW, would speed be added later to hover / pop-up along with course or this is how it will stay?

Leo "Apollo11"

P.S. Oleg you should not worry about my health... rest assured all is OK... [;)]

P.P.S. I simply love new smilies... [8D]
