Just Bought, Downloaded & Installed.

WarPlan Pacific is an operational level wargame which covers all the nations at war in the Pacific theatre from December 1941 to 1945 on a massive game scale.

That is what it totally looks like from the log. It is having an access issue. I think what is happening is that it is not UPLOADING the file.

You do have a Steam key with a Matrix purchase. Have you tried using that version yet?

Otherwise run it in admin mode.

I do however like complex games esp that monster WitP:AE. But wasnt sure if i will like this one, wish i could play this as slow pace, like one day at a time. I think this one is weekly or two, forgot how they set it up. Also have Strategic Command: World War II World at War. It look okay, but wasnt happy with the setup.

The way they had WitP:AE after you make your move or turn, then AI or opponent does the same, then comes to execute phase, etc. That something i like to get into, but sadly hardly any games like that out there. Guess i am tired of playing my turn, your turn, etc. Those typical turn based game.
You should try WEGO World War II: Stalingrad https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/view ... hp?f=10153. The AI reacts as you move your units and attack. Very different and fun.

It is odd that there are not more games where both sides do their turn then the turn runs like AE. Especially WWII ones. If a game as old as AE has it, why can't more modern games have that?

Surely because this is much more complex to program especially at a huge scale not at the scale of a single battle.

That looks like a security issue above.

You can see hidden files by having this box CHECKED ON

Slick search box lower left -> type file explorer -> enter -> View -> toggle on the button in the picture labeled "Hidden Items".
You will see the hidden folder AppData.

well the scale of Stalingrad is pretty big imho. Not like War in Europe of War in the East 2, so it seems like it could scale once the dev tools are in place. But since it had been ages since I programed anything what do I know lol.
