Hi. I am stuck in the process of creating a Map: I have reached the point where i Convert the map into a BMP hightmap. The link to the convertheight.exe file is dead and so is the link to the downloadable style. So I have no Idea how that BMP file should look like. Could you tell me, how i can create such a Style in the GIS Program please? Thank you very much.

When making a map, how does the software know a "woods" from other terrain like "clear" and "building" where the cover and concealment values are different. Where are these values generated? Are they done so automatically or inputted by the designer?
Thanks.
PS: also noticed when you change to mapedit = 1 you can't use the mission editor ... pls advise.

Ok
I made the 3d tiff of quyryat shmona and started to draw the map
Is it you draw lines of a color and ab puts a road, or a rock or a forest?

Or is there more to it?

The cover and concealment values are hard coded in the engine.

That's how it works, you have to restart the game. The map editor was made for our map designer guy, but we decided to make it available to the public as an 'advanced' feature.

I think we solved this on Discord.
