Ok i tried to upgrade to the latest version. I put in the commands from the performance example (both) but stuck with the amd version since that is what i have. I am still off by one hex on various off the map bases and do not show the new bases at all. Also i cannot get it in wide screen and i have tried various x and y. I have a republic of gamers model GA401I withAMD rysen 7 4000 and Nvidia GEFORCE GTX. Question is how do i get it to wide screen?

What do you mean by "latest Version?". There is a latest official version 11.26a or b, and the still in testing Beta 11.27.

Since you refer to new bases I assume you are using Andrew Brown's new map for the 11.27 Beta. There is a version that is just for the 11.27 Beta, and two versions for the 11.26a or b patches (original stock map and extended map with stacking limits - these have some corrections to the data but no new bases). If your map has bases in the Caribbean beyond Cristobal, it is the new one.

Map updates require both the artwork that you see (put into the ART folder to replace existing (save the old ones elsewhere) and the new PWhex files that the computer sees. You must get the correct files for both in the same game installation. Only then will the displayed bases match up with the mouse clicks in all locations.

Trying to get full screen is a different problem. There have been recent threads on this that will probably answer your questions. Please read them before asking about anything that still is unclear to you.

great fan fanboy but they did post a new version 27beta as official and i cant get it working right. It is showing bases in new orleans, jamaica, egypt. going back to my unoffical 27 beta
