[FIXED] Stem Beta 64x B1323.1 Test 1

Good Evening

Spent a couple of days with this version, mostly doing ASW tutorials and some test builds. I have come across a few thing listed below, all recent logs and scenarios used will be in the zip file.

[1] When playing submarine tutorials i got some very strange red line appearing, this was just following the tutorial. Possibly part of the ambiguity zone gone wrong.

[2] Again with in Submarine Tutorials just playing, minimising the screen gave me this white screen which needed the game shut down to clear. Although i was able to save and resume from the same point so the menu button were still active.

[3] Crash to desktop when using mini maps this has happened in all scenarios i have tried it on so far.


[4] Strange Start Menu disappearance, this happened while going back to the start menu from one of the sub tutorials.

[5] Strange view of surface search radar not displaying correctly just showing as two yellow lines (just above the data block). Scenario included DAY-NIGHT-TEST. It was created by the two Watchman (ASR) Radars.

[6] There is a large circle of map missing in the north pole when using Open TopoMap.

[7] Convergence rings are currently not displaying, can confirm they are present in the standard steam version (B1307.13).

The red lines crisscrossing in the background were related to uncertainty zones as you guessed. We implemented a fix that is in the pipeline.

Since your test, we implemented a fix for minimaps crashing to desktop.

The rendering of only part of the arc of surface search radar has been fixed.

The OpenTopo overlay does not have available imagery beyond the 85th parallel. If you disable all other map layers and Base Earth in the View menu, that area will appear black.

FifthDomain, I want to follow up on the items I haven't previously addressed:

I have not been able to replicate either of these. Do they still happen to you with the latest public beta?

We made a fix for convergence zones that is in the latest beta. They should render normally now.

I've not experienced those problems in any of the recent Betas so they were either one offs or you've already fixed whatever caused them.

Can confirm convergence zone rings are visible too.
