- Improvement of Design of New ProtoStarship TOAW I would rather skip now - but TOAW as a franchise could decelop into two ways:
One is NATO Professional version with new AI.
The second is commercial version.
And I would make a Tournament and give 5% of all sales to Scenario Designers for new scenarios.
Bringing TOAW to some modern wargame design is something for all new EXE file.
This is exactly what I have said to Erik in my mail to him about what Matrix could do for the future of TOAW if they would like to invest into it. Unanswered email so far. I am curious, Larry, did you get an answer to yours?
I was toying around of making in a near future - game development company. I have few ideas in mind but more in RPG genre at first. Dublin is better bussines wise than hm some country in the Balkans

But, I am not interested to pursue TOAW IP - if I had enormous resources I would give to Matrix Games offer that cannot be turned down and develop further TOAW under my Creative Direction ahem

But, as one of biggest fans of Sid Meier (that's how I was intriduced to him ) and TOAW ž, and bystander - I will just, in good faith - offer my advice to Matrix Games for free.
That consulting will someone charge you top dollars

1) Invest 2 million $ into development of TOAW - The Next Generation - all bell and whistkes - It will PAY OFF tremendeously
Now, sometimes some companies doesn't even realize real added value of Intelectual Property.
Business lesson no1 but I was learning of the best American CEO's.

There is a lot to learn from Trip Hawkins - business wise.
