Is there a way to slow down the air to air combat results text

I don't see that well, and I have a very hard time reading what damage was inflicted to units involved in air to air combat. Is there a way to delay the text from disappearing?

Best you can do is turn off "quick animations" in the options.

I often run combat with the map zoomed out. Air to air combats are often so widely separated that some participating air units are off the map when zoomed in. You hear the units, but you don't see them or the losses they take. I've often wished the game had the ability to center the map temporarily over all participating air units when zoomed in.

I believe some of the results that pop up fast but reveal nothing is an intentional design feature and sort of a FoW mechanic.
Do agree that the off screen battles are a bit annoying.
