Individual Unit Movement Bias

Post by FellingerXZ »

Bob Cross, it would be cool in the next update if you could also apply a custom movement bias to an individual unit, or formation rather than just setting up a value for the entire force. Im basically desgining some airborne troops and they only got 1 moment which is kinda annoying lol, wish i could edit their value.

Create a handcart piece of equipment that has transport capability and can be tranported by air.

Then add however many to the airborne unit until it can move as required.

The same basic concept applies to ground forces. Add/subtract transport capability and monitor the impact on unit movement. This is not a "cure-all" for the problem, but t does give the designer some options. Note that in addition to transports some equipment types (recon for example) can give a boost to the movement rate.

Are you sure they don't have some equipment that requires transport - and lack transport? That will cause the above.

Understand, but the equipment has to be air transportable to be dropped and provide additional mobility on the ground.

Another option is to use porter squads to help move heavier equipment like mortars etc.
