I am back to doing some modding and see that alot of the POPUPS and MESSAGES have a <<TAG>>.

Where do I find the associated text files?

For a custom campaign, the text files are in \Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - World at War\Campaigns\[campaign name]\Scripts\Events\EN

To use <<TAG>> enter in the script e.g. decision.txt. For exampale #MESSAGE= <<TAG_EXAMPLE>>

In the ...\EN\decision.txt file, make an entry <<TAG_EXAMPLE>>= "The text goes here..."

The 'EXAMPLE' part can be any text string as long as they are the same in each file.

Use %N for line breaks; %B at the start of every bolded word etc. There are notes in the files for this.

Within the Events folder for the official campaigns, there are sub-folders for each language, and within them you'll find files for each script type, containing all the text, assigned to a <<TAG>>.
