My Akitsuki Destroyer's are armed with 51x25mm Flak[&:].Is that correct?Sounds a little bit overpowered for me.

Never noticed that, but Akitsuki class DDs were the IJN equivalent of the USN CLAAs. According to Combined Fleet.com the armament is correct.

Without edits to PW......the Japanese fleet needs all the flak it can get!

Don't worry. They aren't even nearly effective as US flak is. Late war Japanese ships are bristling ( look at Yamamoto and Musashi ) AA, but still when I see Helldivers over my task force I hardly can watch. Two days ago ( it's 1945 now ) 3 Warhawks and 5 Helldivers went trough my cap ( 47 Zeroes ) and 2 Helldivers survived and dropped those "high velocity" 500lb bombs. One hit which went right trough my veteran CV and whole planet and finally surfaced another side of the globe. [:'(]

It was my second carrier which I lost due to single 500lb bomb and both carriers have been Pearl Harbour vets.

I try to use my carriers now like commerce riders. Strike there where are low aerial activity and weakly defended targets. Because I play against AI it's sometimes very successful and I get few transports. So I have feeling that I can do at least something. I didn't manage to sink US carriers when I had the chance and in the end of 1943 came new US carriers and all that I managed to cripple badly but not sunk.

I haven't played as US after 1943 because AI is beaten by then. Playing Japanese against Allied AI is fun because all of that late war stuff. I tried to play as Japanese went at real war, not attacking northern route. My inner defence perimeter is still intact but that because of AI. The day comes nearer all the time.
